Overview
The nursery is set in a converted Victorian house and provides care for children aged six weeks to five years. The setting is homely, with a large outdoor space divided by age range and accessible from every room, supporting consistent indoor-outdoor play. We\βre looking for a reliable practitioner who can work confidently within the EYFS and support children across different age groups. You should be comfortable working in a busy nursery environment, able to follow routines, and willing to work closely with the team to maintain consistent practice.
Responsibilities
- Support children\\\βs learning and development through play and planned activities
- Build strong relationships with children and families
- Work with the team to deliver EYFS outcomes consistently
- Maintain accurate observations and learning records
- Help keep rooms and resources safe, clean, and organised
- Support the daily running of the nursery alongside colleagues
Requirements
- A Level 2 or Level 3 childcare qualification is required.
- Applicants must have a strong working knowledge of the EYFS and be confident working in a busy nursery setting.
- Recent experience working in a nursery or early years setting
- Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework
- Confidence supporting children across different age groups
- Desirable: Additional safeguarding or early years training
- Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification
Salary & Conditions
- Salary: Up to Β£26,000
- Hours: Full-time
- Contract: Permanent
