As Room Leader, you will ensure high‑quality practice in your room, supporting both children and staff to thrive.

Responsibilities

  • Lead your room, managing staff, routines, and resources
  • Deliver high‑quality care and education in line with the EYFS
  • Act as a key person, maintaining learning journals and tracking children's progress
  • Plan and adapt activities based on children's interests and developmental needs
  • Ensure health, safety, safeguarding, and hygiene standards are maintained
  • Communicate with parents about their child's development and day‑to‑day experiences

Qualifications & Experience

  • A full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification is required.
  • Recent experience leading a room in an EYFS nursery setting is essential.
  • This role is not suitable for applicants without hands‑on leadership experience in a nursery.
  • Strong knowledge of safeguarding and child development
  • Confidence managing staff, routines, and room practice
