Responsibilities
- Lead your room, managing staff, routines, and resources
- Deliver high‑quality care and education in line with the EYFS
- Act as a key person, maintaining learning journals and tracking children's progress
- Plan and adapt activities based on children's interests and developmental needs
- Ensure health, safety, safeguarding, and hygiene standards are maintained
- Communicate with parents about their child's development and day‑to‑day experiences
Qualifications & Experience
- A full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification is required.
- Recent experience leading a room in an EYFS nursery setting is essential.
- This role is not suitable for applicants without hands‑on leadership experience in a nursery.
- Strong knowledge of safeguarding and child development
- Confidence managing staff, routines, and room practice
