Responsibilities

  • Lead the pre-school room and ensure high-quality care and education.
  • Plan and deliver engaging play-based activities in line with EYFS.
  • Support children’s development, independence, and school readiness.
  • Create a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment.
  • Build strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
  • Monitor and track children’s progress.
  • Support and guide team members within the room.
  • Ensure safeguarding and health & safety standards are consistently met.

Qualifications

  • Level 3 Early Years qualification – essential.
  • Proven experience as a Room Leader – essential.
  • Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework.
