Overview
The nursery has bright, well-equipped rooms, including a sensory room, a sleep room, and separate indoor and outdoor learning areas. You will support children\βs development through daily routines, activities, and observations, working alongside the nursery team to maintain consistent standards.
Responsibilities
- Support children\βs learning and development through planned activities
- Follow the EYFS framework and nursery routines
- Observe and record children\βs progress and development
- Maintain safeguarding, health, and safety standards
- Communicate with parents and carers about their child\βs day and development
Requirements
- Requires a Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification
- Recent experience working in a nursery or early years setting
- Good knowledge of EYFS and child development
- Understanding of safeguarding and health and safety in early years
- Clear communication and teamwork skills
- Desirable: experience working with mixed-age groups
- Desirable: additional training in SEND or safeguarding
- Experience working in a nursery with sensory or specialised areas
Pay and Hours
- Pay: Up to Β£14.60 per hour
- Hours: 40 hours per week (Monday to Friday)
- Contract: Permanent, full-time
- Setting: Nursery / Early Years setting
