Nursery Practitioner in Bagshot

Overview

The nursery has bright, well-equipped rooms, including a sensory room, a sleep room, and separate indoor and outdoor learning areas. You will support children\’s development through daily routines, activities, and observations, working alongside the nursery team to maintain consistent standards.

Responsibilities

• Support children\’s learning and development through planned activities
• Follow the EYFS framework and nursery routines
• Observe and record children\’s progress and development
• Maintain safeguarding, health, and safety standards
• Communicate with parents and carers about their child\’s day and development

Requirements

• Requires a Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification
• Recent experience working in a nursery or early years setting
• Good knowledge of EYFS and child development
• Understanding of safeguarding and health and safety in early years
• Clear communication and teamwork skills
• Desirable: experience working with mixed-age groups
• Desirable: additional training in SEND or safeguarding
• Experience working in a nursery with sensory or specialised areas

Pay and Hours

• Pay: Up to £14.60 per hour
• Hours: 40 hours per week (Monday to Friday)
• Contract: Permanent, full-time
• Setting: Nursery / Early Years setting
