We are looking for an experienced Nursery Manager to lead a nurturing, homely setting that has been thoughtfully refurbished to a high standard. Each room has been carefully designed to support children at different stages of development, creating an engaging and inspiring environment. Rated Good by Ofsted, the nursery prides itself on delivering high-quality care and education, supporting children to develop the skills, confidence, and curiosity they need for the next stage of their journey. The setting is now looking for a strong leader to build on this success and continue raising standards.
Responsibilities
- Leading the day-to-day running of the nursery, ensuring the highest standards of care and education
- Driving quality and maintaining strong Ofsted outcomes, with a focus on continuous improvement
- Overseeing the delivery of the EYFS framework across all age groups
- Ensuring safeguarding and compliance standards are consistently met
- Leading, motivating, and developing a high-performing team
- Building strong relationships with children, families, and the wider community
- Managing occupancy, staffing, and overall nursery performance
Qualifications
- Level 3 Early Years qualification or above - essential
- Proven experience as a Nursery Manager - essential
- Experience achieving Good or Outstanding Ofsted outcomes
- Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and safeguarding requirements
- A confident, inspiring leader with a passion for delivering high-quality early years care
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- A proactive approach to team development and continuous improvement
