Location: Reading & Bracknell

Salary: £50,000 - £55,000 per annum

Hours: Full-Time (Monday – Friday, 9:00 – 17:00, with flexibility and on-call duties)

About the Role

As a Registered Manager, you will be responsible for the leadership, management, and smooth running of the home, ensuring the highest standards of care and compliance with Ofsted regulations. You’ll create a safe and therapeutic environment where young people can heal, grow, and achieve their potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Register with Ofsted as the Home Manager
  • Lead & inspire a team using therapeutic parenting approaches (PACE)
  • Ensure safeguarding, well-being, and development of young people
  • Oversee care plans, risk assessments & incident reports
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with external agencies
  • Support young people in their education, relationships & independence

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience: Management experience in a children's residential setting
  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of safeguarding, trauma-informed care & Ofsted regulations
  • Skills: Leadership, communication, organisation & emotional resilience
  • Qualifications: Level 3/4 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent)
  • Willingness to achieve Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Care
  • Desirable: Ofsted registration experience & safeguarding lead training
