About the Role
As a Registered Manager, you will be responsible for the leadership, management, and smooth running of the home, ensuring the highest standards of care and compliance with Ofsted regulations. You’ll create a safe and therapeutic environment where young people can heal, grow, and achieve their potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Register with Ofsted as the Home Manager
- Lead & inspire a team using therapeutic parenting approaches (PACE)
- Ensure safeguarding, well-being, and development of young people
- Oversee care plans, risk assessments & incident reports
- Build and maintain strong relationships with external agencies
- Support young people in their education, relationships & independence
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience: Management experience in a children's residential setting
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of safeguarding, trauma-informed care & Ofsted regulations
- Skills: Leadership, communication, organisation & emotional resilience
- Qualifications: Level 3/4 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent)
- Willingness to achieve Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Care
- Desirable: Ofsted registration experience & safeguarding lead training
