We are now seeking an experienced AI Engineer specialising in Computer Vision to join a high-calibre engineering team. Key Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and optimise production-level AI models using CNNs, Transformers, and generative techniques (e.g., diffusion models, GANs).
- Develop and deploy real-time and batch computer vision pipelines to support use cases such as object detection, document analysis, and synthetic data generation.
- Experiment with, fine-tune, and operationalise open-source models (e.g., LLaMA, Mistral, Stable Diffusion).
- Collaborate with cross-functional product and engineering teams to integrate AI solutions into core platform features.
- Drive innovation by staying abreast of the latest trends in machine learning, LLMs, and generative AI.
- Ensure responsible AI practices, including transparency, fairness, and scalability in production environments.
- Optimise models for performance, cost, and deployment efficiency on modern compute infrastructure (GPU/CPU).
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- 3+ years of experience in software development and machine learning engineering in a fast-paced, technical environment.
- Proven experience deploying AI models in production (not just research) across real-world use cases.
- Advanced proficiency in Python and deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or Keras.
- Strong expertise in computer vision, generative models, and large-scale ML pipelines.
- Familiarity with LLMs, diffusion models, fine-tuning, and techniques like LoRA.
- Experience curating and utilising synthetic data for training and evaluation.
- Infrastructure knowledge including AWS, Kubernetes, and Terraform/OpenTofu.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
