Working closely with the Nursery Manager, you'll help lead a passionate team, maintain exceptional standards of care and education, and support the continued success of this well-established nursery.
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience in a senior early years role.
- Experience as a
- Deputy Nursery Manager is preferred, although exceptional
- Room Leaders or
- Third in Charge candidates looking to progress are encouraged to apply.
- Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and safeguarding requirements.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
- A genuine passion for delivering outstanding childcare and supporting children to reach their full potential.

Deputy Nursery Manager Responsibilities
- Support the Nursery Manager with the day-to-day leadership of the nursery.
- Lead, motivate, and develop the nursery team to deliver exceptional childcare and early years education.
- Ensure compliance with the EYFS framework, safeguarding legislation, and Ofsted requirements.
- Support staff through coaching, supervisions, and ongoing professional development.
- Build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
- Monitor the quality of practice throughout the nursery and drive continuous improvement.
- Take responsibility for the nursery in the Manager's absence.
