Up to Β£39,500 per annum | 37.5 Hours Per Week | Days & Nights Rotation
Specialist Eating Disorders Service
No two days are the same here - This is a unique opportunity to work in a small eating disorders service, where you can build strong therapeutic relationships and play a hands-on role in each patient's recovery journey. You'll be part of a supportive multidisciplinary team that values collaboration, innovation, and delivering care that genuinely changes lives.
We're looking for a Mental Health Nurse with strong clinical assessment skills, confidence in care planning and risk management, and the ability to deliver safe, evidence-based care. Experience working within eating disorders or specialist services would be a significant advantage.
What We're Looking For
Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with an active NMC PIN
Successfully completed preceptorship programme
Previous experience working within a mental health setting
Strong understanding of risk assessment, care planning, and recovery-focused practice
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
Commitment to delivering high-quality, person-centred care

Newly qualified nurses who have not completed their preceptorship are not eligible for this position

Key Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients within the eating disorders service
Develop, implement, and review person-centred care plans
Support patients throughout their recovery journey
Monitor mental and physical wellbeing, escalating concerns appropriately
Participate in risk assessments and clinical reviews
Administer medication and maintain accurate clinical records
Work collaboratively with the wider multidisciplinary team
Promote a safe, therapeutic, and recovery-focused environment
Contribute to continuous quality improvement and best practice initiatives
