Key Responsibilities
- Preparing and serving balanced, nutritious meals
- Ensuring all meals are prepared in accordance with allergy and dietary requirements
- Implementing rigorous processes to prevent cross‑contamination, including clearly labelled, separate utensils and preparation areas
- Maintaining a safe, clean, and hygienic kitchen at all times, meeting all food hygiene and Health & Safety standards
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations including COSHH and food hygiene legislation
- Maintaining accurate records related to food preparation, cleaning schedules, stock levels, and equipment maintenance
- Managing stock levels, ordering, and supplier relationships
