What You’ll Need

  • NMC Registered Nurse (RGN/RMN) – essential
  • Experience as a Clinical Lead or Deputy Nurse Manager within a nursing home
  • Strong understanding of CQC, safeguarding and care quality standards
  • Confident clinical decision-making and supportive leadership style
  • Compassionate, resident-focused approach to elderly care
  • Experience in dementia care or complex nursing needs

  • Lead and support nurses and carers to deliver safe, person-centred nursing care.
  • Work closely with the Home Manager on audits, governance, compliance and CQC standards.
  • Champion best practice in elderly care and dementia care across the service.
  • Mentor, supervise and develop the clinical and care team.
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date clinical documentation.
  • Build strong professional relationships with residents, families, and external healthcare teams.
