This role sits within a welcoming nursing home providing care for people with a wide range of needs, including dementia. As Head of Nursing, you will support the Home Manager with clinical leadership across the service, helping to maintain safe, consistent, and person-centred nursing care. Some supernumerary time is included to allow space for leadership, oversight, and assessments. The home has been thoughtfully designed to support people living with dementia, with specialist features that help residents navigate and feel comfortable in their environment.

What You’ll Need

What You’ll Do
- Provide visible clinical leadership across the nursing and care teams
- Support the Home Manager in the overall clinical management of the home
- Maintain and develop high standards of nursing care and safeguarding
- Complete initial assessments for prospective residents
- Support residents and families throughout the admission process
- Develop, review, and oversee individual care plans
- Administer medication and ensure safe medicines management
- Act as a positive role model, offering guidance and support to staff
