Here at Williams, an independent trade-only plumbing and heating merchant, we’re looking for a Branch Assistant to join our busy and friendly team in Christchurch!
This is a varied and active role which includes:
- Serving customers on the trade counter and over the phone
- Assisting with warehouse duties
- Delivery driving

If you also have previous exposure of working within a plumbing and heating merchants, builders' merchants or wholesaler, trade counter, or on the tools / management within the plumbing and heating trade, we would LOVE to hear from you!
As our Branch Assistant, you’ll be:
- Maintaining the warehouse, including stock rotation and general housekeeping
- Serving on the trade counter and handling incoming enquiries
- Accurately picking orders in preparation for delivery
- Receiving, checking and storing incoming goods
- Assisting with the general upkeep of the branch
- Carrying out deliveries in the local area
- Processing quotes
