Were looking for a Branch Assistant to be a star and join the team at Ashford. This is a varied and active role and you’ll be expected to serve customers on the trade counter and over the phone, undertake deliveries and assist with duties in the warehouse, in order to uphold the exceptional levels of customer service we are known for. As the Branch Assistant, you’ll be expected to: Serve on the trade counter and handle incoming enquiries Process quotes Maintain the branch and warehouse, including stock rotation and general housekeeping Receive, check and store incoming goods Accurately pick orders in preparation for delivery Carry out deliveries in the local area Assist with general duties as directed by the Branch Manager and their assistant In order to this, you will: Have excellent customer service skills Be a great communicator Have a flexible approach to duties and tasks Be an enthusiastic team player with the ability to make a positive contribution Be ambitious to progress and keen to learn Hold a full UK driving licence As well as working for a company listed for 5 years running on the Top 100 Best Companies to Work For, you can expect:
