About You

We are seeking an experienced Management Accountant with a background in hospitality finance and strong Xero proficiency. This role is ideal for a finance professional who understands the unique challenges of the hospitality sector, from cost control to revenue analysis. The successful candidate will be responsible for producing management accounts, financial reporting, and providing key insights to support business decisions.

You Are

  • Strong experience in management accounting within the hospitality sector.
  • Proficiency in Xero and Netsuite, with the ability to optimise its use in financial processes.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to explain financial data to non-finance teams.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Prepare and review monthly management accounts, ensuring accuracy and timely reporting.
  • Analyse financial performance, providing insights on revenue, costs, and profitability.
  • Oversee cash flow management, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Monitor food, beverage, and operational costs, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Perform balance sheet reconciliations, accruals, and prepayments.
  • Ensure compliance with UK VAT regulations, payroll, and other financial reporting requirements.
  • Work closely with operational teams to track key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Assist in the preparation of year-end financial statements and audits.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance financial efficiency.

Skills And Qualifications

  • Qualified or part-qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or equivalent experience.
  • Experience with multi-site hospitality businesses or franchise models.
  • Knowledge of payroll, VAT, and hospitality-specific financial reporting.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
