WANTED:
Someone to run the best bagel shop in Fitzrovia.
General Manager · The Deli, Great Portland Street ·£35,000 plus bonus · Days only
You know a good bagel. You know a good team. You know how to fill a room by 8am and keep it moving till 4.
We’ve got the bagels. You bring the rest.
THE DELI
New York bagels on Great Portland Street. Bacon, egg and cheese for the morning rush. Pastrami and smoked salmon piled high at lunch. Proper coffee all day. Seven days a week, 7am to 4pm.
THE JOB
It’s yours. Your site, your team, your call. Run the floor through the rush, build a crew people want to be part of, and make The Deli the name every office on the street orders from and every bagel lover in London has heard of. Instagram, TikTok, catering, order ahead, the lot. If it makes us busier, it’s your job.
WHAT YOU OWN
The whole thing, P&L included. Growing sales week on week, through the counter, catering and order ahead. Labour and the rota. Stock, ordering, GP and waste. The till, the standards and a 5 on the door for food safety. Hiring, training and keeping a great team. You’ll know your numbers every week and what you’re doing about them.
YOU
You’ve run a team somewhere busy and you loved it. Restaurant, bar, café, coffee shop, food hall, it doesn’t matter. If you’re a hospitality manager looking for your own site in Central London, read on. You lead from the floor, you’ve got an eye for what looks good, and you get a kick out of watching the numbers go up because of something you did. GM already, or AGM ready for your own place. Either works.
YOU GET
£35,000 plus bonus. Your evenings back, every single day. Real ownership, with no area manager breathing down your neck. One to one coaching from someone who has grown hospitality businesses from a handful of sites to dozens. And all the bagels you can eat on shift.
SOUND LIKE YOU?
Come in for a bagel, then send us your CV and tell us the first thing you’d change. Don’t be polite about it.
