Key Objective
This role will include increasing business within ongoing accounts through new or additional products, plus bringing new sales to the company within its aggressive growth plans. You will join an existing team of Area Sales Managers and Business Development Managers that work closely together to achieve the overall sales target.
Key Responsibilities
To ensure effective company representation
- Responsibility for all business in the Northwest geographical area covering distributors, Public Sector and end user specification.Geographical area includes London, Surrey, West Sussex, East Sussex and Kent.
- Liaise with existing and new clients to promote the company and its products at every opportunity.
- Increase business within ongoing accounts through new or additional products as well as bringing new sales opportunities to the company.
- Promote Continual Improvement to maximise sales and customer satisfaction.
Key person requirements and skills
- Good communication and the ability to react to customer demands.
- Flexible working. Being able to work independently and part of a team.
- Computer literate. Competent with Word, Excel and PowerPoint to produce reports on monthly sales, products sold and future opportunities.
- Ideally have a successful background in sales within the foodservice industry.
Other duties and responsibilities
- Any other ad hoc duties as may be requested by your manager, including the attendance at other Williams facilities, customer and supplier sites, as well as exhibitions.
- You may be required to work additional hours to ensure that duties, responsibilities and reporting requirements are met.
