Are you a visionary Marketing & Communications leader ready to have a significant impact from day one?
We\’re seeking an exceptional Head of Marketing and Communications to join our client\’s team on a 6-month fixed-term contract! This is a rare opportunity to shape our future, as you\’ll be starting with a near blank page, meaning every strategic step you take will be a positive one in the right direction. They already have exciting calendar events planned for the next six months that you\’ll be instrumental in supporting and leading.
Reporting directly to a key leader in the Sales Department, you\’ll be at the forefront of shaping and driving a comprehensive marketing strategy across their primary business. This role is about more than just marketing; it\’s about creating an environment where everyone can be at their best through effective communication with their people and the external labour market. You\’ll also work closely with a related marketing lead and develop relationships with a partner food group.
What you\’ll be doing:
- Lay the foundations of the marketing strategy: Develop and lead our marketing approach for our primary business, working closely with the MD and Sales Director. You\’ll design the framework strategies, manage campaigns with clear ROI targets, and provide crucial competitor and market insights.
- Driving Internal & External Communications: Shape and execute a communications plan that engages their current and future workforce across the primary business, a related company, and a partner food group. This includes promoting them as a great workplace, leading direct communication to our people (town halls, digital messages), and supporting communications during periods of change.
- Brand & Engagement: Support and lead the brand at external events and engage stakeholders in delivering activities ranging from business strategy awareness to staff recognition programs.
