Shift Pattern: 4 on / 4 off (Days & Nights)

Hours: 5:30 – 5:30

Salary: Up to £52,000 + 5% bonus + 5% matched pension + Training allowance for City & Guilds recognised qualifications

I’m currently working with a well-established food manufacturing business to recruit a Maintenance Engineer for their site in Hampshire.

This is a hands-on role within a fast-paced, chilled manufacturing environment, offering a strong salary, and long-term stability within a growing engineering team and a business that will invest in your development.

The Role

• Responding to breakdowns and fault-finding to minimise downtime
• Carrying out planned and preventative maintenance across plant and machinery
• Supporting small continuous improvement and reliability projects
• Working closely with Production, Technical, and Hygiene teams
• Accurately completing maintenance records and documentation
• Ensuring all work is completed in line with health & safety and food safety standards

What I’m Looking For

• Proven experience in a maintenance engineering role within manufacturing
• MUST HAVE : NVQ / C&G recognised Electrical qualification, your application will not be considered if not
• Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding capability
• Experience working with pneumatics and reading technical drawings
• Fabrication and welding skills
• A recognised engineering qualification (apprenticeship, NVQ, HNC / HND, or equivalent)
• A proactive, problem-solving approach and strong team ethic
