The Role
As a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer, you’ll play a key role in maintaining site performance and reliability across production and packaging operations. Key responsibilities include:
- Responding to breakdowns and fault-finding to minimise downtime
- Carrying out planned and preventative maintenance across plant and machinery
- Supporting small continuous improvement and reliability projects
- Working closely with Production, Technical, and Hygiene teams
- Accurately completing maintenance records and documentation
- Ensuring all work is completed in line with health & safety and food safety standards
What I’m Looking For
- Proven experience in a maintenance engineering role within manufacturing
- MUST HAVE: NVQ / C&G recognised Electrical qualification, your application will not be considered if not
- Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding capability
- Experience working with pneumatics and reading technical drawings
- Fabrication and welding skills
- A recognised engineering qualification (apprenticeship, NVQ, HNC/HND, or equivalent)
- A proactive, problem-solving approach and strong team ethic
