Key Responsibilities
- Salesforce Development & Administration: Manage the existing Salesforce solutions and ensure it is aligned with programme goals and technical best practices. This will include updates, customising and maintaining Salesforce as the team and function grows. Customise Salesforce features including objects, workflows, validation rules, process builders, and third-party integrations. Integrate Salesforce with other systems and applications (e.g., PowerBI, Sumo Scheduler) to support seamless operations. Ensure data integrity and governance, including deduplication, field optimisation, and accurate workflow mapping. Create and maintain dashboards and reports to monitor KPIs such as school engagement, retention, booking efficiency, and commercial pipeline visibility.
- User Support & Training: Provide day-to-day support to the STEM team, troubleshooting issues and ensuring effective use of Salesforce features. Deliver training and documentation to enable confident and consistent use of the CRM across the team.
- Performance & Compliance: Monitor system performance and proactively resolve technical issues. Implement and maintain security protocols and ensure compliance with data protection regulations. Maintain comprehensive documentation of system architecture, configurations, and processes.
- Collaboration & Continuous Improvement: Work closely with the Operations Manager and wider STEM team to understand business needs and translate them into elegant technical solutions. Collaborate with the Commercial Team to develop visibility of the sales pipeline for STEM activations, supporting strategic growth and reporting. Identify opportunities to automate and optimise workflows using Salesforce and related technologies. Support cross-functional collaboration by enabling data visibility and operational transparency.
Skills, Experience, and Knowledge:
- Proven experience building and managing Salesforce instances from the ground up.
- Strong proficiency in Salesforce configuration, customisation, and API integrations.
- Experience with workflow automation and third-party tools (e.g., PowerBI, Sumo Scheduler).
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and a proactive approach to system improvement.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Salesforce certifications (e.g., Certified Administrator, Platform App Builder, Platform Developer II, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud).
- A positive, can-do attitude and flexible working style.
- Aptitude for analysing and interpreting data to inform decisions.
- Ability to pass a DBS background check (required for working in a child-focused environment).
- Strong balance of creative thinking, technical precision, and project management.
- Self-starter with initiative and a commitment to high standards and deadlines.
Additional Information:
- This role will ideally be based in Grove (Oxfordshire), however, there could be the possibility to split time between the London & Grove offices.
