Roles
- Sustainability Graduate
The Sustainability Graduate will work alongside the Sustainability Business Partner who is responsible for planning, implementing, and monitoring sustainability programs and initiatives within the organization. This role involves collaborating with various departments and external suppliers and stakeholders to integrate sustainable practices into daily operations and reduce environmental impact. This role offers a unique opportunity to see all aspects of the Operations Management function and to have a real impact in driving improvements in our business sustainability. You will work with and learn from talented and experienced team members, seeing what it takes to get a car to the racetrack and experiencing the thrill of playing a part in getting it there.
Shape the Future: Join the Sustainability team at the heart of Williams Racing\’s Operations department, where you\’ll help integrate environmentally responsible practices across manufacturing, logistics, and programme management. Gain hands-on experience supporting initiatives that align with FIA regulations and broader business strategy, contributing to the team\’s long-term environmental goals. Play a key role in shaping how Williams Racing delivers performance sustainably on and off the track.
Make Real Impact: Environment & Sustainability related degree; support the Sustainability Business Partner in collaborating with departments across the business to embed sustainability into daily operations, from data gathering and analysis to continuous improvement projects by preparing reports and documentation for key stakeholders, helping drive transparency and accountability. - Operations Graduate
Shape The Future: Support the planning and scheduling of car programme delivery across manufacturing areas, helping to optimise production timelines. Contribute to continuous improvement projects using lean methodologies to enhance operational efficiency. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve problems and expedite critical path projects. Carry out process mapping and system analysis to identify opportunities for operational and system improvements.
Make Real Impact: Perform data gathering, system updates, and analysis to develop performance dashboards and drive operational insights. Support Operations Management with business case development for new capital equipment. Work with methods and quality engineering teams to improve manufacturability of components. Help ensure the smooth delivery of manufacturing output that directly contributes to the performance of the Williams Formula 1 car.
Find Your Place: Degree in a STEM-related field, with a strong interest in manufacturing and operations. Experience working with business systems and Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint); SharePoint and Power BI knowledge is a plus. Effective communicator with a collaborative mindset and strong organisational skills. Logical thinker with a proactive attitude and the ability to work independently. Previous experience in manufacturing or operations through internships or personal projects is highly desirable.
