Overview
In this role you will safeguard Williams F1’s regulatory standing by ensuring FIA Financial Regulations compliance and Cost Cap controls. You will partner with the Finance team to prepare accurate submissions, support audits, and maintain reliable internal reporting. You’ll translate complex rules into clear analyses and technical papers for senior leadership. The position sits at the intersection of finance, governance, and sport regulation, offering meaningful impact on cost control and regulatory integrity. You will work in a fast-paced, data-driven environment with cross-functional stakeholders to drive compliant decision-making.

Responsibilities
- Prepare FIA-compliant submissions for assigned areas with accuracy and timeliness
- Collate and analyse data to support CFO responses and FIA committee discussions
- Support external audits (Cost Cap AUP and FIA audits) with documentation
- Create and maintain monthly Cost Cap actuals reporting within the finance cycle
- Review source docs and transactional data for regulatory compliance and escalate ambiguities
- Assist in annual forecasting with Finance Business Partner team for Cost Cap compliance and optimisation
- Prepare technical papers detailing Williams’ interpretation of Financial Regulations and maintain fair value assessment schedules
- Monitor regulatory changes affecting Cost Cap and related regulations, communicating updates internally
Key requirements
- Qualified, part-qualified or working towards ACA/ACCA/CIMA
- Experience in finance, reporting or compliance with regulatory frameworks
- Proven track record in producing accurate financial reports
- Experience supporting internal or external audits
- Experience analysing large datasets using Excel or equivalent
- Ability to manage multiple deliverables under tight deadlines
