Overview

In this role you will lead quality across the organisation to embed a right-first-time mindset. You will guide the Quality team, drive upfront quality planning, and champion root-cause analysis to resolve issues. You’ll align quality initiatives with the corporate vision and collaborate cross-functionally to sustain compliance and continuous improvement. This opportunity offers impact at scale in a high-performance manufacturing/production environment within a prestigious sports team. You will shape quality culture and training, enabling better decisions and outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Track and manage quality incidents, investigations, and resolutions
  • Oversee procedural use, audits, and compliance tracking
  • Propose quality role placement and acquisition with Heads of Departments
  • Develop company-wide quality awareness aligned to business needs
  • Create quality training concepts tailored to the organisation
  • Translate business targets into quality targets and own KPIs
  • Monitor KPI progress and results of quality initiatives
  • Derive strategic quality initiatives in line with corporate vision
  • Coordinate the quality function with the broader business
  • Train and develop Quality Engineers
  • Provide quality training, coaching, and guidance to Senior Leadership, including monthly quality meetings

Key requirements

  • Experience in a high-performance, fast-paced manufacturing/production environment (preferably low-volume, high-precision or R&D)
  • Proven leadership of a multi-level team with direct reports
  • Ability to work in a diverse and dynamic environment
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
  • Solid knowledge of modern manufacturing methodologies and systems planning
  • Proven ability to self-manage and deliver on time and within budget
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build internal and external relationships
  • Reliable, flexible, resilient, and agile mindset
  • Degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, or related discipline is highly desirable
  • Experience with ISO and 8D problem-solving is desirable
