Overview
In this role you will provide comprehensive health and safety support across a fast-paced motorsport organisation, acting as a central point of contact for safety matters across shop-floor, manufacturing, trackside, and off-site functions. You will influence teams to maintain high safety standards while enabling performance. Your work helps sustain a positive safety culture and ensures compliance with legislation and internal standards. Responsibilities
- Create, review and maintain Risk Assessments, Safe Systems of Work (SSOW) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Collate and maintain COSHH documentation including chemical inventories and safety data sheets
- Deliver toolbox talks and support Health & Safety Committee to promote culture
- Lead accident, incident, and near-miss investigations with root cause analysis and corrective actions
- Conduct audits and workplace inspections for compliance with standards and legislation
- Provide advice on health and safety matters including PPE selection and usage
- Offer ongoing guidance on a broad range of health and safety topics
Key requirements
- NEBOSH National Diploma (or equivalent Level 6 health and safety qualification) is essential
- Manufacturing experience required, with high-performance or technically complex industry experience beneficial
- RAMS review and contractor control in live environments
- Experience applying CDM regulations and related health and safety principles beneficial
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and capable of producing clear safety reports
- Empathetic and engaging communicator
