We are looking for an ERP Support Engineer to join the team to support, troubleshoot and maintain solutions within our D365 F&O solution. You will collaborate closely with Operations teams to maintain system functionality and ensure issues are resolved quickly to minimise disruption to business operations. Reporting to our ERP Lead, you will be responsible for providing technical support for D365 F&O users; responding to incidents, service requests, and resolving technical issues related to system performance, functionality, and integrations; analysing and diagnosing system issues; providing root cause analysis and suggesting solutions; creating and maintaining technical documentation related to troubleshooting steps and system configurations; and actively engaging in knowledge sharing.

Main duties:

  • Solution Support
    • Support end-users by resolving issues in a timely manner, providing training where necessary.
    • Maintain communications between end users, stakeholders and technical teams throughout the issue resolution process.
    • Perform RCAs on issues to define, document and implement preventative actions to continually improve functional performance of our solutions.
    • Work with cross-functional teams to define and implement solutions to increase solution stability across our system landscape.
  • Continuous Improvement
    • Identify opportunities for reducing repeat issues/support problems and support design and implementation of improvements.
    • Continually assess and implement strategies to reduce inefficient work and utilise other areas of TIG to contribute to the stability of our technical and functional solutions.
    • Stay updated on industry and technology trends, seeking system improvement opportunities through peer learning and collaboration.
  • Standards & Documentation
    • Document system solutions in the context of business processes to enable knowledge sharing across the group and end-user training.
    • Support upskilling of team members through sharing process/system knowledge and experience of approach in more complex issues/tasks.
  • Solution Quality Control
    • Support key business contacts performing audits to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
  • Risk Management
    • Identify and escalate risks to ensure the reliability and stability of our solution and architecture.
    • Prioritise security to protect intellectual property, cybersecurity threats, regulatory compliance, data integrity, and quality.

Skills and experience required:

  • Previous, proven hands-on experience in supporting, troubleshooting, and testing D365 F&O applications: with strong understanding of business processes within Supply Chain Management modules.
  • Experience supporting users through incident management, service requests, and system troubleshooting; ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills with ability to collaborate with technical teams.
  • Experience working with integration tools to troubleshoot and support integrations between D365 F&O and other business systems.
  • Microsoft certification is beneficial.
  • Collaborative and curious approach to technical problem-solving.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work with a wide range of groups and disciplines seamlessly.
  • Ability to adapt to rapidly evolving requirements.
