As an E-commerce Trading Assistant, you will play a central role in driving online sales performance across Primary Care UK’s owned and third-party digital channels. You will support the optimisation of trading activity, ensure product data accuracy, manage pricing and promotions, and contribute to the daily commercial operation of our SAP Commerce platform, online marketplaces, and emerging social commerce channels. Your work will directly influence revenue, customer experience, and operational efficiency as we continue to expand our digital presence within the primary care and trauma sector. Responsibilities

  • Maintain and enhance product listings across SAP Commerce and PIM systems, ensuring accuracy of product data, pricing, categorisation, and compliance.
  • Execute trading activity such as promotions, price changes, and product launches in collaboration with the e-commerce, commercial, and marketing teams.
  • Monitor stock levels and liaise with supply chain to reduce out-of-stock listings and maintain availability.
  • Review category and product-level performance data, identifying underperformance and recommending improvements.
  • Conduct competitor benchmarking to support pricing decisions and identify commercial opportunities.

Marketplace and Social Commerce Management

  • Support the management and optimisation of online marketplaces including Amazon and eBay.
  • Assist in the creation, optimisation, and ongoing monitoring of listings to enhance visibility, Buy Box competitiveness, and conversion.
  • Contribute to the growth of social commerce channels such as TikTok Shop and Instagram Shopping by maintaining accurate listings and supporting campaign activity.
  • Ensure branding, product content, and compliance standards are upheld across all marketplace and social platforms.

Merchandising and Product Presentation

  • Work with content and design teams to ensure that product imagery, copy, and categorisation meet quality and merchandising standards.
  • Apply conversion-led merchandising techniques to enhance discoverability and improve customer journeys.

Performance Monitoring and Reporting

  • High attention to detail with the ability to manage large product catalogues and complex data sets.
  • Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills including pivot tables, lookups, and common formulas.
  • Clear communication skills and the ability to collaborate across commercial, marketing, supply chain, and customer service teams.
  • A proactive, analytical mindset and a commitment to accuracy and continuous improvement.
