Maintenance Engineer position available within a well established manufacturer, they are a brand associated with quality and are well respected in their industry.
The role would suit maintenance engineers who are multi skilled and have both electrical and mechanical skills. Engineers must transfer from a manufacturing background. Applicants with experience working in a plastics manufacturing environment will have a considerable advantage and are encouraged to apply. Engineers will ideally be apprentice trained or equivalent. Electrically, you will ideally have experience fault finding on PLCs and must have a 17th Edition as a minimum.
The role will involve a mixture of both reactive and pre-planned maintenance on a wide range of production, process and packaging machines. You will have involvement in continuous improvement projects on site which will include machinery installation, machinery refurbs and upgrades. As part of your role, you will assist in the mentoring and development of engineering apprentices on site. You will work to strict H&S guidelines at all times.
This is a varied role for the successful engineer. You will benefit from a weekdays role, with no night work or weekend shifts. They offer stable employment within a good team environment.
