ARE YOU A MAINTENANCE ENGINEER WITH EXPERIENCE IN THE FMCG, FOOD MANUFACTURING OR PACKAGING INDUSTRY? DO YOU HAVE BOTH MECHANICAL AND ELECTRICAL SKILLS?

The role would be suited to a multi skilled maintenance engineer. You can have either a mechanical or electrical bias but you must have experience working within a fast paced manufacturing environment on both production and packaging machinery. Knowledge of Slitting / Lamination / Converting Equipment desirable, however not essential.

Engineers will ideally be apprentice trained or equivalent as a minimum. Electrically, engineers must have a minimum of a 17th or 18th Edition qualification.

This is a varied role where you will be the sole engineer on site. You will have full autonomy over the maintenance activities on site. You will be responsible for both reactive and pre-planned maintenance as well as project work, continuous improvement works as well as facilities management when required.

You will work to strict H&S guidelines and as their products are supplied to the food industry you will work to HACCP guidelines. This is a great opportunity to take ownership of maintenance activities on a small manufacturing site. You will have full autonomy in your role within a small close knit team of employees.
