ARE YOU A HSE MANAGER OR HEALTH & SAFETY MANAGER WITH EXPERIENCE WORKING WITHIN A HEAVY MANUFACTURING ENVIRONMENT? ARE YOU NEBOSH QUALIFIED?
This is a role with a high level of responsibility within a world class manufacturing environment. You will have autonomy within your position and have the scope to make improvements on site. You will benefit from working within a fantastic team environment within a manufacturer who are well renowned within their industry.
The role would suit HSE or Health and Safety Managers or Senior Health and Safety personnel who have experience working within a manufacturing environment. Applicants who have exposure and experience working within heavy manufacturing environments will have a considerable advantage. Applicants will have a NEBOSH qualification as a minimum.
Reporting directly into the Plant Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining Health & Safety on a heavy continuous process manufacturing site. You will carry out audits of operational practice and work collaboratively with all employees to ensure the site is legally compliant. You will take a lead on risk assessment and risk management, investigate accidents/incidents and ensure corrective measures are put in place. You will devise and deliver all H&S training, inductions and ensure that SOPs are reinforced and best practice is adhered to. You will liaise with external organisations and authorities where required to ensure the site is compliant with all environmental clauses.

- Ensuring all staff are accurately inducted and trained to best practice

- Monday to Friday. 37.5 Hours per Week
- Must have previous experience as a senior H&S professional
- Must have previously worked within a manufacturing environment
