The role would suit maintenance engineers with a strong mechanical bias. Engineers who have experience working within a heavy manufacturing environment will have a considerable advantage and are encouraged to apply. Engineers must be apprentice trained or equivalent in a mechanical discipline.

Reporting to the Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor, you will be responsible for mechanical maintenance on a wide range of production and process machinery. Working to strict H&S guidelines, you will carry out both planned and reactive maintenance. You will also have involvement in mechanical improvement projects and CI activities. You will work within a large state of the art manufacturing facility which has a wide range of heavy production machinery. The facility also has a wide range of manufacturing processes, the successful engineer will benefit from a varied role.

As part of your role, you will assist in the guidance and mentoring of mechanical apprentices on site. This is a fantastic career prospect within a market leading manufacturing company.
