Electrical Maintenance Engineer required for a niche manufacturer who are market leading within their industry. They are an employer who genuinely looks after their staff and invests in their people. Reporting to the Electrical Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for electrical maintenance within a large manufacturing facility. You will carry out both reactive and pre-planned electrical maintenance on a wide range of heavy production machinery. You will typically work on:

  • Induction furnaces
  • Automated Casting lines
  • Milling
  • Rolling
  • Annealing
  • Pickling and Slitting lines
  • Conveyors
  • Pump systems
  • AC DC motors
  • Contactors
  • Relays
  • Switches
  • Sensors
  • Solenoids
  • Distribution boards
  • Inverters
  • Overhead cranes

PLC work will predominantly be on Siemens S5/S7. You will also have involvement in any continuous improvement project work as well as facilities maintenance when required.
