Base pay range Salary: ÂŁ46,000 per annum, plus company benefits

Address: 1 Churchill Place, Canary Wharf, London E14 5HP

Office based with potential for on-site and off-site shoots

Contract: Permanent, full time

Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Shifts: Monday-Friday between 8am-6pm (Shifts to include: 8am-4pm, 9am-5pm, or 10am-6pm)

Work model: Hybrid; minimum of 2 days worked in office per week

Purpose of the Role

The Videographer and Editor is responsible for conceptualizing, filming, photographing, and editing high‑quality visual content that effectively communicates the firm’s brand, values, and key messages. Serving as both a technical expert and creative storyteller, this role brings ideas to life through compelling video and photographic production, ensuring visual consistency, brand alignment, and exceptional standards across all deliverables.

Key Responsibilities

  • Video Production & Editing
  • Execute innovative, high‑quality video shoots that align with project and brand objectives
  • Collaborate with creative teams to develop concepts, storyboards, and visual treatments
  • Capture footage that reflects a strong understanding of narrative flow, composition, and brand tone
  • Edit footage into cohesive, engaging stories tailored for various platforms and audiences
  • Ensure all footage meets technical and aesthetic quality standards
  • Manage camera, lighting, and sound setups, ensuring professional‑grade visual results
  • Maintain organized file structures, properly label and back up footage, and manage project archives
  • Support the Senior Video Editor in filming and editing as required
  • Adhere to strict deadlines while maintaining a high standard of creativity and attention to detail
  • Photography & Visual Content Creation
    • Serve as the in‑house expert for photography, ensuring consistent, high‑quality results across all visual outputs
    • Lead and manage internal and external photography needs, including corporate, event, and portrait photography
    • Develop and maintain a consistent photographic style aligned with the brand’s identity and visual standards
    • Create concepts, storyboards, and mood boards for photoshoots, ensuring strong creative direction and alignment with briefs
    • Oversee photo post‑production, including retouching, color correction, and image optimization
    • Collaborate closely with the Creative and Communications teams to ensure synergy across video and photographic content
  • Creative Collaboration & Brand Alignment
    • Partner with internal stakeholders to translate business messages into impactful visual narratives
    • Take initiative on creative projects, proposing innovative and brand‑appropriate solutions
    • Ensure adherence to creative briefs and brand guidelines while pushing creative boundaries
    • Liaise with external partners, talent, and vendors to ensure seamless production workflows
    • Contribute ideas and inspiration to creative brainstorming sessions, fostering innovation across the team
  • Operational & Technical Excellence
    • Manage and maintain all video and photography equipment, assessing needs and repairs
    • Ensure compliance with file management, storage, and data protection protocols
    • Maintain knowledge of evolving trends, technologies, and techniques in video and photography
    • Provide exceptional service to internal clients, representing the Creative team with professionalism and responsiveness

    • Technical Expertise: Advanced understanding of videography, photography, lighting, and production workflows
    • Editing & Post‑Production: Expert in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, Photoshop, and Lightroom
    • Creative Storytelling: Strong ability to craft compelling visual narratives that align with strategic objectives
    • Brand Sensitivity: Deep understanding of visual identity and the ability to reflect brand messaging consistently
    • Collaboration: Works effectively across departments and accepts creative feedback constructively

    Qualifications and Experience

    • Degree or Diploma in Video Production, Visual Arts, Media Studies, or related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
    • 8+ years of experience in photography and videography, including post‑production expertise
    • Proven ability to light diverse environments for both video and photography shoots
    • Demonstrated experience creating and executing creative concepts and mood boards
    • Strong portfolio showcasing corporate, portrait, and event photography
    • A showreel demonstrating a range of corporate video projects
    • Solid understanding of branding and the ability to visually communicate brand messages
    • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, Premiere Pro, and After Effects
    • Strong ability to meet deadlines, manage time effectively, and maintain quality under pressure
    • Deep understanding of high‑end audiences and tailoring visual content accordingly
