Williams Lea seeks a Product Marketing Manager to join our team! Williams Lea is the leading global provider of tech-enabled business and marketing services helping clients manage and transform processes through resilient, scalable 24/7 operations.
Purpose of role
The purpose of the Product Marketing Manager role is to drive the commercial success of our global product and service offerings by deeply understanding our markets, clients, and competitive landscape, and translating that insight into compelling positioning, messaging, and go-to-market execution. This role acts as a strategic connector between Product, Marketing, Business Development, and Account Management teams worldwide.
Key responsibilities
- Go-to-Market Strategy: Develop and execute comprehensive go-to-market strategies for new product launches and existing product enhancements, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives
- Market Research: Conduct in-depth market research to identify target segments, customer needs, and competitive landscape
- Product Positioning: Define and communicate compelling product positioning and messaging that resonates with our target audience
- Content Creation: Develop and oversee the creation of engaging marketing content, including videos, whitepapers, case studies, and blog posts
- Sales Enablement: Provide sales teams with the necessary tools, training, and support to effectively sell products and services
- Market Analysis: Track market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify opportunities and threats
- Performance Measurement: Monitor product performance metrics and analyse data to measure success and identify areas for improvement.
The successful product marketing manager will:
- Understand our global product service offerings inside and out
- Partner with the product and marketing team to implement competitive positioning strategies and compelling, differentiated messaging, to engage, excite and convert prospects and clients
- Use client data to build buyer personas which articulate buyer expectations, preferences and aversions and provide guidance to the global marketing and business development teams on how best to reach and influence decision-makers
- Develop and implement methods to collect and share timely research and relevant insights with the global marketing, business development and account management teams around competitive intelligence, and market trends within our target verticals
- Build strong, amiable relationships with key strategic partners, internally and externally, and provide data-driven feedback as appropriate
- Position the global business development and account management teams to win more business by creating and maintaining a robust repository of sales enablement materials, including videos, product fact sheets, competitive comparisons (Beat Sheets) and other collateral, prioritised by organisation need and mapped to the buying journey
- Develop and maintain a library of use cases and current client success stories to support new sales and upsell opportunities
- Provide training to marketing, business development and account management teams on new sales enablement materials and in support of GTM and GIM campaign goals and plans
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field
- 7+ years of experience in product marketing, preferably for a B2B enterprise solution
- Strong understanding of product lifecycle management and product marketing best practices
- Proven track record of successful product launches and market positioning
- Experience marketing technology products, ideally within fintech or legaltech
- Experience with CRM, marketing automation and ABM technology tools
- Proven ability to develop and implement product positioning and messaging strategies including multi-channel go-to-market and grow-in-market strategies and plans
