Salary: £30,247 per annum, plus company benefits
Location: Leeds LS10
Contract: Permanent, full time
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Mon-Fri 10am-6pm with a 30‑min break
Work model: Hybrid following successful completion of the probationary period

Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled Presentations Designer to join a fast‑paced, on‑demand design studio within the banking sector. The role requires at least three years’ experience in presentation design and document formatting in the financial industry. The successful candidate will regularly interact with clients, collaborate with colleagues, and deliver on‑brand creative material that exceeds client expectations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Advising clients on business objectives, requirements, and creative briefs.
  • Creating high‑quality design templates and refining slides for PowerPoint pitchbooks, presentations, and other deck materials.
  • Designing diagrams, infographics, maps, charts, and graphs to support content.
  • Converting and formatting financial content including graphics, charts, tables, and multimedia elements.
  • Managing multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines, and coordinating with cross‑functional teams.
  • Providing quality control of own work and supporting others’ deliverables.
  • Managing Excel job timesheets daily and reporting progress to the workflow coordinator.
  • Maintaining compliance with brand guidelines, legal requirements, and industry standards.
  • Providing technical support, troubleshooting, and coordinating with external print or digital suppliers.

Key Competencies

  • Over three years of professional design and document production experience.
  • Formal training in design/visual communication at graduate degree level or equivalent.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Teams, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and Acrobat on Windows PCs.
  • Strong brand awareness and sensitivity, with the ability to apply brand guidelines intuitively.
  • Excellent creative flair, confidence in presenting ideas to clients and colleagues.
  • Ability to balance work across several projects and manage time efficiently.
  • Proactive self‑development, utilising online training materials and resources.
  • Strong technical knowledge and willingness to learn new software, platforms, or tools.
  • Experience in pre‑press and complex print outputs, including colour setup and cutter guides.
