Salary: Up to £55,000 per annum DOE, plus company benefits

Location: Leeds, LS10 1AB

Contract: Full Time, Permanent

Shifts: 37.5 hours per week, Monday – Friday, shifts between 9am and 5:30pm but flexibility is needed with 1 hour's unpaid lunch break

Williams Lea seeks a Senior Workflow Creative Controller to join our team! Williams Lea is the leading global provider of skilled, technology-enabled, business-critical support services, with long-term trusted relationships with blue-chip clients across investment banks, law firms and professional services firms.

Purpose of role

This is a varied role, working as the link between the client and a busy Creative Team to ensure that jobs progress smoothly and efficiently through the studio. The right candidate will have the right balance of people and organizational ability.

Previous experience of working in cross-functional teams as a Workflow Coordinator, Traffic Manager or Production Manager with creative environment knowledge is essential. Success in this role will be seen in the increased efficiency of the project management as well as the clarity of the communication between the client and the team.

Key responsibilities

  • Review current and always suggest new workflows/processes
  • Assessing incoming briefs to ensure they are complete and clear, creating detailed timing plans (where needed) and managing creative resource to achieve the brief
  • Ensuring the successful delivery of all creative projects, ensuring all outputs meet the brief and copy check where required
  • Owning the Creative inbox, providing timely communication with stakeholders, confidently managing expectations, and sharing project updates
  • Organise regular catch ups with teams to ensure work is progressing smoothly, removing any potential barriers and help prioritising daily tasks
  • Assist with HR and IT requests, including but not limited to onboarding and recruitment of new team members, and contractors
  • Ensure internal and external resources have the necessary equipment, applications, and workspace setup.

Personal attributes

  • Experience of working with creative teams to accurately assess design briefs and quality check content
  • Background in graphics design essential
  • Knowledge of video project management ideal
  • Managing workflow of incoming requests, assessing briefs and deadlines and assigning to the correct teams/persons
  • A strong communicator with an impeccable attention to detail. Proofing skills with excellent verbal and written English are essential
  • Highly organised, focused on accuracy and quality in a relentlessly fast-paced environment
  • A natural problem solver, focused, self-motivated and forward thinking. You will have the ability to work effectively to help deliver projects to deadline
  • Calm within a busy environment. You will be able to prioritise and adapt, multi-task effectively, juggle numerous projects and switch planning where required due to the reactive nature of the business
  • Knowledge of Adobe Creative suite for print, digital and video projects
  • Knowledge of print process and techniques, managing suppliers where required

Software requirements: ServiceNow (essential), Monday.com, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Acrobat, Figma – ideal, data asset management experience (DAM) - Frontify preferred
