Purpose of role
As part of the Client Intelligence & Marketing Technology London team, the Marketing Assistant will work closely with lawyers, Marketing, IT, and cross‑functional teams to support the Firm’s digital marketing, communications, and CRM initiatives. This role assists with website management, digital campaigns, email marketing, data reporting, and CRM administration to enhance the Firm’s online presence and client engagement efforts. This role is based at our Leeds ODC on a hybrid basis, with a requirement to travel to the client’s London office on occasion throughout the term of the contract.
Key responsibilities
- Website & Digital Content Promote and update content on Firm websites in alignment with marketing campaigns and brand standards. Optimize webpages for user experience (UX) and SEO. Assist with testing, troubleshooting, and coordinating technical updates with IT and external vendors.
- Digital Campaigns Support the development, execution, and analysis of digital marketing campaigns. Collaborate with social media and communications teams on paid search (SEM) and social media advertising. Assist in expanding online engagement through various digital channels.
- Email Marketing (Vuture) Create, test, and deploy email campaigns, newsletters, and Firm communications. Manage user accounts and system settings within Vuture. Integrate email campaigns with InterAction CRM lists and forms. Monitor campaign performance and report on key metrics. Manage unsubscribe requests and maintain marketing inboxes in compliance with privacy policies
- CRM (InterAction) Maintain and update contact records, including reviewing daily data change requests. Process employee hires and departures in the CRM system. Build targeted contact lists using complex searches and manage list imports/exports. Maintain Marketing and Working List folders and ensure list integrity for events and mailings. Support data hygiene initiatives, including duplicate cleansing and record standardisation. Develop business development and engagement reports using CRM and email marketing data. Ensure compliance with global data privacy regulations and Firm policies.
- Reporting & Analytics Analyse campaign, event, and engagement data to support business development efforts. Provide reporting insights to improve marketing effectiveness and client outreach.
Personal attributes
Bachelor’s Degree. Prior experience in digital marketing, CRM administration, marketing operations, analytics, or communications preferred. Experience with InterAction or similar CRM systems required. Experience with Vuture required. Experience with website CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress, SharePoint) a plus. Familiarity with Google Analytics or other reporting tools a plus. Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline‑driven environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Collaborative, proactive, and team‑oriented approach.
