Williams Lea seeks a Junior Designer to join our relief team! Williams Lea is the leading global provider of skilled, technology-enabled, business-critical support services, with long-term trusted relationships with blue-chip clients across investment banks, law firms and professional services firms.
Purpose of role:
Our relief team offers a flexible solution to Williams Lea, often working on critical projects on client sites. As a Junior Designer within our relief team, you will be working various shifts covering holidays and sickness to ensure our services are fully staffed across multiple office locations in London, sometimes at short notice. Your role will be varied depending on the needs of the individual client projects and every task which is undertaken must be delivered with an exceptional customer service approach.
Key responsibilities:
- Manage multiple projects concurrently, ensuring adherence to timelines and deadlines.
- Serve as a liaison between the creative team and other departments to support effective collaboration and workflow.
- Ensure all outputs comply with brand guidelines, legal standards, and industry regulations.
- Contribute to a multidisciplinary team producing print, digital, and written content.
- Engage regularly with clients and collaborate closely with creative colleagues to bring innovation and creativity to the team.
- Operate within a highly regulated environment to deliver seamless, on-brand creative solutions that exceed client expectations.
- Conduct quality checks on design and artwork to ensure alignment with brand standards and approved briefs.
- Make minor amendments to existing projects across various media.
- Provide technical support and contribute to problem-solving efforts.
- Take ownership of assigned work, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and high quality.
- Adhere to quality control and pre-flight checking procedures, along with all departmental policies.
- Interpret client needs and collaborate with the team to develop concepts that align with their objectives.
- Apply creative thinking to generate new ideas and concepts.
Competencies:
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).
- Experience working within corporate brand guidelines.
- Strong commitment to delivering high-quality customer service.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
- Highly organised, detail-oriented, and capable of meeting deadlines in a dynamic environment.
- Ability to work independently, prioritise tasks, and adapt quickly.
- Understanding of print processes and techniques (desirable).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
- Familiarity with Adobe After Effects and Premiere Pro is a plus.

- Self-motivated and able to perform under pressure and tight deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate clearly and confidently with colleagues and clients at all levels.
- Willingness to manage all aspects of daily tasks, including formatting and final checks.
