Williams Lea is seeking a Head of Content Development to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a group of content development experts and editors, as one coordinated team, and will be responsible for delivery of our publishing schedule, across all clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Team Leadership and Management: oversee content and product development, content commissioning, and editorial delivery across all formats.
- Content and Product Development: oversee the development of engaging, market-relevant products from concept to publication.
- Editorial Oversight: uphold the highest editorial standards, ensuring all content is accurate, consistent, and aligned with our style guides.
- Operational and Process Management: monitor production timelines, budgets and deliverables, ensuring publishing projects are completed on time and within scope.
- Client Relationship: build strong working relationships with key client contacts, developing a deep understanding of their strategy, priorities and audiences.
Requirements
- Experience in editorial and content development roles.
- Proven leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a multidisciplinary team.
- Strong understanding of editorial and content development processes and workflows for print and digital.
- Excellent editorial judgement and attention to detail, with a track record of delivering high-quality content.
