Williams Lea seeks a Presentation Designer to join our team! Williams Lea is the leading global provider of skilled, technology-enabled, business-critical support services, with long-term trusted relationships with blue-chip clients across investment banks, law firms and professional services firms.
Purpose of role:
As a Presentation Designer, you will be an integral part of the Creative Design team. Our team supports Creative marketing production for a leading Legal Firm including highly impactful creative presentations that are often interactive and incorporating motion design. This role requires a driven individual to collaborate closely with clients and the Creative Design team to ensure the production of high-quality designs, with final outputs in PowerPoint. You will represent the department professionally whilst delivering exceptional work. You will provide support in concept development and collaborate with design colleagues, presentation operators, workflow teams, and stakeholders to assess briefs and develop design solutions as part of the creative process. You must have a strong understanding and passion for transforming content into impactful and engaging presentations. A key focus of this role is the delivery of innovative, creative content with a consistent look and feel. You will demonstrate a “can-do” attitude, proactively contribute ideas, and ensure all work is delivered to the highest creative standard while adhering to brand guidelines.
Key responsibilities:
- Proactively deliver an outstanding final product for the client, ensuring that creative presentations comply with brand guidelines.
- Think creatively to produce innovative ideas and concepts in collaboration with the Creative Director.
- Ensure quality and accuracy in all deliverables.
- Stay up to date with ‘state of the art’ techniques, best practices, and developments within the design community, bringing forward-thinking ideas to the team.
- Create engaging and visually compelling infographics.
- Apply design principles related to animation and moving images, as needed.
- Ensure that all projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Support the business in managing and delivering client work with accuracy and efficiency, ensuring first-time-right results.
- Use your design expertise to provide both technical and creative guidance and support to clients.
- Maintain professional, clear communication with clients, proactively managing expectations.
- Build and maintain strong, professional relationships with clients, always delivering excellent customer service that considers their specific needs.
- Assist the workflow team in providing accurate project estimates.
- Take a proactive approach to project and time management, ensuring all deadlines are met.
- Adhere to all departmental, company, and client policies and procedures.
- Record all activities using designated company tools and systems.
Personal attributes:
- We are seeking an organised, dedicated, and detail-oriented individual with strong communication skills and an advanced knowledge of PowerPoint.
- You should be design oriented and inspired by Creativity.
- You should be able to demonstrate an understanding of the Creative production process and possess experience in Adobe Creative Suite along with proficiency in digital/moving image design.
- Strong knowledge and experience in creating visually appealing layouts and designing infographics.
- Effectively transforms raw presentations into well-structured, engaging stories with strong content hierarchy and excellent legibility.
- Advanced skills in PowerPoint.
- Solid working knowledge of MS Office applications such as Word and Excel.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite.
- Confidence to present and explain ideas to both clients and colleagues.
- Experience in print, digital, and moving image design.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritise tasks effectively.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in all deliverables.
- Calm, composed, and professional demeanour with the ability to work independently or within a team environment, often under tight deadlines.
- A professional, confident, and enthusiastic team player.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize competing workloads effectively.
- Skills in animation or motion graphics are a plus.
