Location: London City

Contract: Full Time Fixed Term starting in July/August Apprenticeship Contract until 2029

Shifts: 37.5 hours per week, Monday – Friday, 8am until 4pm after initial training rotation shifts will be allocated details below: 08:00 - 16:00, 10:00 - 18:00

Work model: Hybrid 4 days per week in the office, after initial training with 1 day work from home for college assignments and training

Purpose of role

This role is perfect for someone eager to develop hands‑on experience in design and creative problem‑solving while working towards a recognised qualification. Your day‑to‑day work will vary depending on the needs of each client project. Whatever the task, you’ll be expected to deliver it with professionalism, enthusiasm and a strong customer‑focused approach. You’ll learn how to take content and transform it into engaging, visually impactful designs across both print and digital channels. A key part of the role is supporting the delivery of creative, consistent and on‑brand pitch and presentation material. You will be developing core technical skills across MS Office tools and Adobe Creative Cloud.

Key responsibilities

  • Support the creation of digital and print content, including infographics, presentations, charts, illustrations and marketing materials
  • Assist with brainstorming sessions, idea development and creative planning
  • Conduct research to support creative concepts and brand development
  • Communicate effectively with client and colleagues to ensure requests are fully understood and any queries are promptly clarified and that deliverable deadlines are achievable
  • Contribute fresh ideas and a positive, proactive approach to all creative work
  • Ensure all output is consistent, accurate and error free and align with brand guidelines and best practices
  • Leverage features and functionalities of MS Office and Adobe Creative Cloud
  • Maintain organised project files and support the wider team with administrative tasks
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, tools and technologies to ensure output is relevant and efficient
  • Perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned

Essential Skills and Entry Requirements

  • Basic proficiency in MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word) and Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) with a willingness to learn
  • Level 4 Maths and English (equivalent to GCSE Grade C/4 or above) or willingness to achieve during the apprenticeship
  • Eligibility to undertake an apprenticeship programme in the UK
  • A portfolio or examples of creative work
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to multi‑task
  • Positive and proactive approach with a professional and client‑focused mindset
  • Ability to work collaboratively and manage time effectively
  • Clear and professional communication including excellent written and verbal skills
