We are looking for a Procurement Business Partner to provide category expertise to the business, facilitating best value procurement to time, cost and quality imperatives. Effectively consult and influence both internal and external stakeholders. Working as part of the Indirect Procurement team, you will promote and implement high professional standards commensurate with the standing of the business. You will foster positive working relationships both within the team and across functional boundaries, using strong EQ to navigate multiple tasks within a matrixed environment.

Main Duties

  • Category Management: Oversee the procurement process across Indirect Procurement, including, but not limited to Marketing, Professional Services & HR.
  • Strategic Sourcing: Develop and implement sourcing strategies to achieve cost savings and improve supplier performance.
  • Supplier Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations and quality standards.
  • Contract Management: Negotiate and manage contracts, ensuring favourable terms and conditions for the organisation.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with internal stakeholders to understand their requirements and ensure procurement activities align with business goals.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously improve procurement processes and workflows to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Data Analysis: Analyse procurement data to identify trends, track savings, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Compliance: Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies, procedures, and relevant regulations.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. CIPS qualification is desirable.
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in Indirect Procurement, with a strong focus on Marketing, Professional Services and HR categories.
  • Skills: Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills. Proficiency in procurement software and tools.
  • Knowledge: In-depth understanding of Indirect procurement, including market trends, cost drivers, and best practices.
