For almost 50 years, Williams Racing has been at the forefront of one of the fastest sports on the planet, being one of the top three most successful teams in history competing in the FIA Formula 1 World Championship. With an almost unrivalled heritage of engineering and racing F1 cars and unforgettable eras that demonstrate it is a force to be reckoned with, the British squad boasts 16 F1 World Championship titles to its name.

Since its foundation in 1977 by the eminent, late Sir Frank Williams and engineering pioneer Sir Patrick Head, the team has won nine Constructors’ Championships, in association with Cosworth, Honda and Renault. Its roll call of drivers is legendary, with its seven Drivers’ Championship trophies being lifted by true icons of the sport: Alan Jones, Keke Rosberg, Nelson Piquet, Nigel Mansell, Alain Prost, Damon Hill and Jacques Villeneuve. The team has made history before and is out to make it again with a long-term mission to evolve and return to the front of the grid.

Join our dynamic team at Atlassian Williams Racing as a PartnerManager. In this role, you will collaborate closely with a Senior Partner to manage and support our esteemed partner accounts. Your mission will be to provide integrated, consultative, and commercially viable solutions that align with our Partnerships strategy. You will also identify and leverage opportunities with sponsor-partners to enhance Atlassian Williams Racing’s commercial and marketing initiatives.

As a Partner Manager, your main responsibilities will be:

  • Creating bespoke Partnership Business Profiles for each Partner, ensuring Strategic Road Maps, Activation Plans, Stakeholder Engagement Mapping and Rights Matrices are continually updated with required insights to the Partner’s business and the performance of the Williams Racing Partnership.
  • Defining clear and measurable Partnership business objectives that align with the Partner’s strategic aims.
  • Understanding the Williams Racing brand proposition and implementing a consistent brand image across all Partner marketing and promotional activities, ensuring brand guidelines are adhered to.
  • Collaborating with all Marketing departments to ensure the optimisation of the Williams Racing value proposition through fully integrated marketing & communication activations.
  • Building robust, sustainable, and effective professional working relationships with Williams Partners, agencies, and other stakeholders.
  • Working collaboratively with Partners to ensure maximum return on investment in line with contractual obligations, whilst ensuring a commercial benefit to Williams is achieved.
  • Proactively engaging with various Williams stakeholders to build a robust knowledge of all business activities.
  • Supporting on-event activity by coordinating and delivering Sponsor-Partner guest programmes at Races, Tests, Campus, and other events, including guests’ briefs, coordinating Driver & Team appearances, guest passes, guest tour times, lunches and other such activities where needed.
  • Establishing regular correspondence with Partners (bi-weekly meetings, quarterly reports, face-to-face meetings etc.) in order to foster robust relationships and track Partnership performance.
  • Implementing the effective and successful onboarding of new Partners, including coaching on all business processes and operations, ensuring a clear understanding of assets and how to best utilise them.
  • Working with the Senior Partner Manager to define and improve processes and procedures across the Partnerships team.
  • Supporting the Senior Partner Manager and Commercial team with valuable Partner activation and Rights & Benefits guidance.
  • Supporting the Senior Partner Manager and Commercial team with incumbent Partner renewals and uplifts, by utilising the strength of relationships and identifying opportunities to grow the Partnerships.
  • Assisting in the delivery of ad-hoc projects for the Partnerships team as required.
  • Providing administrative support across the Partnerships team as required.

Qualifications

We are looking for a Partner Manager with the following skills and experience:

  • Previous experience in a Partner Manager role within the advertising, sport, or entertainment industry, either directly or in an agency role.
  • Ability to travel frequently between Grove and London, as well as internationally (up to 60% of the time).
  • A full, clean UK Driver’s License.
  • A valid Passport
