Williams , an independent trade-only plumbing and heating merchant, we're looking for a Warehouse Assistant to join our distribution centre in

Fareham on a 6 month FTC!

As a

Warehouse Assistant , you'll be working as part of a busy team in the receipt, storage, replenishment, picking and dispatch (prep) of plumbing and heating goods.

Previous Forklift experience and qualifications would be ideal, but are not essential, as we provide full in-house Forklift Training for our staff members!

As our Warehouse Assistant, you'll be

  • Adhering to company procedures and health & safety standards at all times.
  • Carrying out warehouse tasks safely and efficiently.
  • Operating Forklifts (if qualified / once we train you).
  • Stock storage and replenishment.
  • Packing and wrapping goods.
  • Picking orders and deliveries.
  • Goods receipting.

Ideally, you are

  • Able to plan and organise your own workload, as well as following instructions.
  • Highly accurate in your approach to work with good attention to detail.
  • Respectful in adhering to Health & Safety guidelines at all times.
  • Keen to meet deadlines with a flexible approach to daily tasks.
  • IT literate with good numeracy and communication skills.
  • A great team player who makes a positive contribution.
  • Able to work in a physically challenging role.
