Here at Williams, an independent trade-only plumbing and heating merchant, we\’re looking for a field-based Renewables Business Development Manager to join our Contracts and Renewables team, with some travel to our Central Support offices in Fareham, Hampshire!
We’re building our renewables portfolio and are looking for an experienced, influential and creative individual to join us in this exciting opportunity. You’ll be our go-to person for both employees and customers, providing expert advice and guidance on renewables, helping to develop colleagues’ knowledge and understanding of this important product category.
You’ll also be strengthening and developing our relationships with suppliers, as well as being a source of expert advice and assistance to senior stakeholders and helping to shape our strategic direction in this area.
As our Renewables Business Development Manager, you\’ll be:
- Acting as the subject matter expert on technological, political, environmental, and legal factors with regards to renewable products in the UK market.
- Collaboratively creating training materials and programmes to develop our colleagues’ knowledge and understanding surrounding renewables.
- Working with internal teams to identify gaps in our product portfolio and suggest areas for expansion and improvement.
- Working directly with customers and our branch network teams to support with quotes and projects.
- Supporting senior stakeholders in shaping our renewables strategy.
Ideally, you are:
- A proven expert in the sales of Air Source Heat Pumps, renewables and low carbon products with the technical knowledge to boot!
- Capable of translating wider strategy into coherent programmes of action to achieve specific goals.
- Able to communicate and influence with a range of stakeholders at all levels.
- Well versed in developing and/or delivering in-house training plans.
