Here at Williams, an independent trade-only plumbing and heating merchant, we're looking for a Branch Assistant to join our busy and friendly team in Portsmouth! This is a varied and active role which includes:
- Warehouse duties (60%)
- Serving customers on the trade counter and over the phone (30%)
- Occasionally assisting with delivering to customers in the local area (10%)

If you also have previous exposure of working within a plumbing and heating merchants, builders' merchants or wholesaler, trade counter, DIY, Hardware, or on the tools in the plumbing and heating trade, we would LOVE to hear from you!
As our Branch Assistant you'll be:
- Maintaining the warehouse, including stock rotation and general housekeeping.
- Accurately picking orders in preparation for delivery.
- Receiving, checking and storing incoming goods.
- Serving on the trade counter and handling incoming enquiries.
- Assisting with the general upkeep of the branch.
- Occasionally delivering plumbing and heating products to our trade customers in the local area.
- Supporting the wider team to deliver the very best to our customers.
