Here at Williams, an independent trade-only plumbing and heating merchant, we\’re looking for a Driver & Branch Assistant to join our busy and friendly team in Harlow!
This is a varied and active role which includes: predominantly making deliveries in the local area (60%), and occasionally serving customers on the trade counter and over the phone (20%), and assisting with warehouse duties (20%)!
If you also have previous exposure of working within a plumbing and heating merchants, builders\’ merchants or wholesaler, trade counter, DIY, Hardware, or on the tools in the plumbing and heating trade, we would LOVE to hear from you!
Responsibilities
- Predominantly carrying out deliveries in the local area to our customers.
- Warehouse maintenance, including stock rotation and general housekeeping.
- Serving on the trade counter and handling incoming enquiries.
- Accurately picking orders in preparation for delivery.
- Receiving, checking and storing incoming goods.
- Assisting with the general upkeep of the branch.
- Processing quotes.
