Here at Williams, an independent trade-only plumbing and heating merchant, we\’re looking for a proven Contracts Support Assistant to join our Contracts and Renewables team in Fareham
Using your already high level of plumbing and heating knowledge, you\’ll be supporting the Contracts Manager and trading teams by managing contract and project quotations that deliver strong commercial value. You\’ll be responsible for producing accurate quotes within agreed timelines, working closely with suppliers to secure the best terms.
You\’ll maintain a clear pipeline of quotes, track progress with customers and branches, and keep the Commercial team updated on supplier agreements and follow-ups. Another key aspect is ensuring that high-value contracts have the right terms and conditions in place before work begins.
As our Contracts Support Assistant, you\’ll be:
- Providing branches and the Trade Support Team with support on project and contract quotations.
- Working collaboratively with internal teams and external partners to deliver excellent service.
- Tracking and managing leads through their full lifecycle to shape future opportunities.
- Following internal processes and using systems effectively to manage leads and quotes.
- Ensuring projects deliver strong net profitability, considering all factors.
- Producing accurate quotes within agreed deadlines.
It is essential that you are:
- Adept in developing strong, collaborative working relationships with key stakeholders.
- Well versed in translating customer and stakeholder needs into tailored solutions.
- A strong negotiator with excellent networking, problem solving and closing skills.
- Highly experienced and knowledgeable within the plumbing and heating sector.
- Efficient in managing time and prioritising tasks to maximise output.
- An excellent communicator, both verbally in in writing.
- Proactive in acting on opportunities without direction.
