Up to £28,000 per annum DOE (pro-rata £24,500)

Hours

35 /week MON-FRI 09:30 - 17:00 / 07:00 - 14:30 / 08:30 - 16:00 (ROTA)*NO WEEKENDS!

Williams , an independent trade-only plumbing and heating merchant, we're looking for a Branch Assistant to join our busy and friendly team in

Christchurch !

This is a varied and active role which includes

serving customers on the trade counter and over the phone, occasionally assisting with warehouse duties and delivery driving when needed .

If you like having lots of variety in your daily tasks, this could be the opportunity you have been looking for!

If you also have previous exposure of working within a plumbing and heating merchants , builders' merchants or wholesaler, trade counter, DIY, Hardware, or on the tools in the plumbing and heating trade , we would LOVE to hear from you!

As our Branch Assistant /Driver you'll be

  • Serving on the trade counter and handling incoming enquiries.
  • Delivering plumbing and heating products to our trades customers in the local area.
  • Maintaining the warehouse, including stock rotation and general housekeeping.
  • Accurately picking orders in preparation for delivery.
  • Receiving, checking and storing incoming goods.
  • Assisting with the general upkeep of the branch.
  • Processing quotes.
