Position: Trade Counter Assistant

Salary: Up to £27,500 per annum DOE

Hours: 40 /week MON-FRI 08:30-17:00 / 07:00-15:30 ROTA *NO WEEKENDS!

Here at Williams, an independent trade-only plumbing and heating merchant, we\’re looking for a Trade Counter Assistant to join our busy and friendly team in Ashford!

This is a varied and active role which includes: serving customers on the trade counter and over the phone, assisting with warehouse duties and occasionally making deliveries!

If you also have previous exposure of working within a plumbing and heating merchants, builders\’ merchants or wholesaler, trade counter, DIY, Hardware, or on the tools in the plumbing and heating trade, we would LOVE to hear from you!

Responsibilities

• Maintaining the warehouse, including stock rotation and general housekeeping.

• Serving on the trade counter and handling incoming enquiries.

• Accurately picking orders in preparation for delivery.

• Receiving, checking and storing incoming goods.

• Assisting with the general upkeep of the branch.

• Carrying out deliveries in the local area.

• Processing quotes.
